Reporting to the CIO, Mr. Chada heads up Azalea’s activities in North America¹ and is based in New York City.

Prior to Azalea, Mr. Chada was a senior member of Temasek's Private Equity Fund Investments team for nearly a decade. At Temasek, Mr. Chada was responsible for private equity fund investment and direct co-investments in North America. He moved to New York City in 2015 and helped build the US Private Equity Fund Investments team. He was also a member of the LP Advisory Boards of several North American and Global funds. At Temasek, he worked closely with Mr. Chue En Yaw in the launch of the Astrea II transaction in 2014.

Before Temasek, he was a member of the investment team of Schroder Ventures Group Advisers ("SVG"), a Global Private Equity Fund of Funds Manager. At SVG, he was responsible private equity primary and secondary fund investments in Asia. He joined SVG in 2010.

Mr. Chada started his career in 2004 with Novartis (Boston) as a Research Scientist. Mr. Chada holds a Bachelor of Technology (Chemical Engineering) degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (Chennai), a Master of Science (Chemical Engineering) degree from the University of Oklahoma, and an MBA from the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore.
